Jindal Foundation has been serving the devotees during the grand Rath Yatra Festival at Puri since 2015. Devotees are served fresh cooked food rice, dalma (medley of lentil and vegetables) and khatta (chutney made from raw mangoes/ fresh tomatoes). People from various walks of life across India enjoy the fresh cooked food and appreciated the efforts of JSP Foundation. The Foundation has so far served more than 5 lakh plus meals, freshly cooked amongst devotees during the festival over a period of 10 days. In addition to these, devotees are also served with chilled drinking water from a refrigerated mobile drinking water tanker of 1000 litre capacity engaged by the Jindal Foundation.
In coordination with the District Administration, Puri, the Foundation has also been distributing packets of Glucose among the devotees during Rath Yatra. Over the years more than 50000 glucose and energy (ORS) drink packets are thus distributed among the servitors during the 10 days grand occasion of the Rath Yatra in Puri.
